On June 7, 2018 Amani Africa will be having a luncheon seminar under the theme 'The Reform of the Peace and Security Council'. The event will examine the focus and depth of the PSC reform with in the framework of the on-going AU Reform process.
Amani Africa is an independent African based policy research consulting think tank, with expertise on the African Union (AU) system, including the African Peace and Security Architecture, which contribute to the work of the PSC through providing pre-session analysis on the agenda of the PSC through its flagship project ‘Insights on the PSC’.
Tomorrow (30 June 2018), the Peace and Security Council (PSC) will have a summit level session on South Sudan. The Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission is expected to provide a briefing report to the session.
