Lesotho

Lesotho has been a member of the PSC twice for two-year term and once for three-year term. Its most recent term came to an end on 31 March 2022.

Membership years: 2004-06, 12-14, and 19-22

Lesotho was on PSC's agenda in 2018 in the context of political instability and a security crisis experienced in the country which led to the deployment of SADC Preventive Mission in the Kingdom of Lesotho (SAPMIL) to stabilize the political and security situation.
