Amani Africa seeks to serve as a platform for researchers, practitioners and institutions working on the AU and AU policy processes based outside of Ethiopia and provide them a base in Addis Ababa for collaboration.
The research work of Amani Africa involves the development and dissemination of various research products that support state and non-state actors to plan, review and strategically organize their programs or action on African multilateral processes.

The preparation of strategic and operational technical instruments including, tools for monitoring, reporting and reviewing policy instruments and decisions, early warning and risk assessment and operational manuals.
Knowledge production and management through publications and reports for enhanced awareness on multilateral processes in Africa.
