Mauritania

Mauritania has been a member of the PSC once for the two-year term.

Membership years: 2010-12

For five consecutive years from 2005 to 2009, Mauritania was on the agenda of the PSC. The August 2005 and August 2008 coups d’etat and ensuing transition processes were the central focus of the PSC's engagement on Mauritania during these years.
