Mozambique

Mozambique has been a member of the PSC twice for two-year term and once for three-year term. Its most recent term came to an end on 31 March 2022.

Membership years: 2004-06, 13-16, and 20-22

Mozambique was on PSC's agenda in 2014 in the context of hostilities between the Government of Mozambique and the Party of the Mozambique National Resistance (RENAMO). In 2022, Mozambique was put back on PSC's agenda in connection with terrorism in Cabo Delgado province.
