Ethiopia

Ethiopia has been a member of the PSC for three-year and two-year terms, twice for each term. Ethiopia served the PSC for a total of ten years and its most recent term ended on 31 March 2022.

Membership years: 2004-07, 07-10, 14-16, and 20-22

In 2004, Ethiopia was on PSC's agenda in the context of peace processes between Ethiopia and Eritrea. Ethiopia was added to PSC's agenda again in 2021 in connection with the conflict that broke out between the Federal Government and leadership of the Tigray region.
