ATMIS Activities

The tripartite leadership comprising Head of UNSOS, FGS’s National Security Advisor and Head of ATMIS met to discuss phase 3 ATMIS Drawdown, SSFTrustFund, post-ATMIS plans, and collaboration.

FGS officials, Representatives of ATMIS Troop Contributing Countries and delegation from AUC PAPS Peace Support Operations Division met in Mogadishu to discuss ATMIS phase 3 drawdown and post-ATMIS security plans.

ATMIS Expectations: completion of Phase 3 ATMIS Drawdown
AU Force: reduce by 4,000 ATMIS troops remaining with 13,586 troops
Police: no. of police to remain at 1040

Civilians: no. of civilians to remain the same at 85 civilians

FGS Expectation: FGS to  generate 10,450 security forces by September 2023 per Res.2628 (2022)
