Egypt

Egypt has been a member of the PSC three times for two-year and once for three-year term, serving the PSC for a total of nine years. Its most recent term came to an end on 31 March 2022.

Membership years: 2006-08, 12-14, 16-19, and 20-22

Egypt was on the agenda of the PSC in 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2016. The last time Egypt was on PSC's agenda was in December 2016, at its 644th meeting which dealt with terrorist attacks perpetrated in Cairo, on 11 December 2016.
