The African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) is the largest African Union mission which replaced the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) in March 2022 per the authorisation from the African Union (AU) Peace and Security Council (PSC) Communique 1068th and the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2628 (2022).
